Defining Consistency for a Leading Automotive Brand
Toyota has become one of Australia’s top automotive companies, built on a foundation of quality that permeates every aspect of their operations. For Toyota, the question is always, "How can we make this even better?"
When BRANDPARTNERS partnered with Toyota, the answer was clear: establish brand consistency. Our research revealed the absence of comprehensive brand guidelines, which became the key focus for the project.
In collaboration with Toyota and their architectural team, we designed a best-practice facility to serve as the cornerstone of the Toyota brand manual. This extensive project encompassed a range of creative work, including the development of a brand manual, product designs, signage systems, promotional collateral, and retail displays.
As Toyota’s brand guardian, I oversaw all creative direction and managed the design team to deliver brand application packages for 150 of Toyota’s 320 dealerships across Australia. This case study showcases the brand identity, the brand manual, and completed dealership designs that helped create a unified look and feel across the country.
